Mark Sneed began his commercial real estate career in November, 1986 as a leasing representative. Mark has been involved in virtually every retail property type including enclosed malls, lifestyle centers, mixed-use properties, power centers, community centers, grocery anchored centers, unanchored centers, freestanding buildings, outparcels, and peripheral land. It is this background and experience that sets Mark apart from other development and brokerage executives.


Mark is a specialist in creating the optimal retail and restaurant mix for any commercial property. His years of experience in analyzing markets and trade areas for gaps and opportunities as well as his numerous contacts and deep professional network have been the foundation for his success.  Mark has extensive experience in the negotiation of lease documents, purchase agreements and letters of intent, as well as the creation of effective marketing materials and canvassing programs to identify potential tenants. Mark has established and managed other leasing and sales professionals and a leasing department.


Mark has completed transactions with many of the most prominent major retailers in the United States. A sampling would include Wal-mart Stores, Target Stores, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Barnes & Noble, Sweetbay Supermarkets,  Old Navy, Staples, Bed, Bath & Beyond, CompUSA, Stein Mart, Books-A-Million, JoAnn Stores, Border’s Books, and Zany Brainy. Mark’s network and experience with national chains has resulted in the completion of multiple transactions with such retailers as Pier 1 imports, the US Post Office, Massage Envy, Rack Room Shoes,  Payless Shoe Source, Radio Shack, Sally Beauty Supply, The Haircuttery, Supercuts, Great Clips, Hallmark Cards, Simply $6, Shoe City and Big League Haircutters.


Mark has completed transactions with many of the most prominent restaurant chains in the United States. A sampling would include Cracker Barrel, Perkins, Burger 21, Crispers, Steak & Shake, CiCi’s Pizza, Moe’s SW Grill, Camille’s Sidewalk Café and Atlanta Bread Co.


Mark has been involved in the sale or financing of development sites, investment properties, freestanding stores, outparcels, and peripheral land in excess of $107,000,000. This includes multi-family and residential sites to other developers, bank sites, restaurant sites, and income producing properties.


Mark holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and the Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers.
